The Uveitis Research Study

The Uveitis Research Study is a Phase 3 Clinical Research Study that is being conducted across the United States, in Europe and Brazil and is testing the safety and effectiveness of an investigational oral medication for the treatment of noninfectious Uveitis.

Phase 3 research is the last phase in the development of a medication and is the phase where effectiveness and safety of an experimental medication is determined.

In order to qualify you:

  • Must have been diagnosed with noninfectious Uveitis in the mid and/or back of the eye
  • May have Uveitis that affects just one or both eyes
  • May have Uveitis that has caused a decrease in vision, blurred vision, eye pain or other symptoms associated with Uveitis

How will the study be coordinated with my regular doctor?

The study will last 26 weeks, during which time your primary doctor will be informed of any relevant findings. After the study concludes, you will resume visits with your primary doctor.
