Uveitis Research Study

  • Uveitis is a chronic eye disease
  • 350,000 people in the U.S. have uveitis
  • About 30,000 people go blind from uveitis each year

 If you have been diagnosed with Uveitis, you may be eligible

  • The Uveitis Research Study is a Phase 3 clinical study to test an investigational oral medication for active noninfectious uveitis
  • There is no cost to participate and travel expenses are provided

To be considered for enrollment in the study, you:

  • Must be 18 years old
  • Must have a confirmed diagnosis of active non-infectious uveitis located in the intermediate (middle) and/or posterior (back) of the eye
  • Must not have had cancer in the past five years
  • Must not have been the recipient of a solid organ transplant
  • Must be capable of understanding the purpose and risks of the study, giving written consent and willing to comply with all study requirements
  • Must not have participated in another clinical trial in the last 30 days

The study will last 26 weeks, during which time your primary doctor will be informed of any relevant findings. After the study concludes, you will resume visits with your primary doctor.
